Environment is one of the major concerns of Handasat Al-Esnad Co. during operation. In this regard the company strive to implement all the environmental friendly and Green building construction techniques in accordance with the local regulations and latest standards and practices in this regard. This shall be mainly achieved through Environmental Impact Assessment. Environmental impact assessment shall be done periodically in order to assess the environmental impact of the proposed activity whenever there is a change in activity or a new activity. Management Staff of the company has been given the responsibility and the authority to determine environmental aspects of an activity or process, over which necessary control is to be exercised, keeping in view the significant impact on the environment. The aspects, which are considered as significant and legal regulatory non-conformance, shall be taken into consideration for establishing the environmental objectives. For significant aspects, there shall be effective control & monitoring procedures in order to prevent item from becoming significant. The Health and safety of the company employees is the sole mission of management team. Zero Incident policy is strictly implemented during company operations to achieve this mission. In order to success in this policy the procedure for hazard identification techniques & evaluation of hazards potential & risks is established and documented. For all significant hazards, an effective hierarchy of control & monitoring mechanism will be applied in order to prevent or mitigate the effect of the evaluated risks. These mechanisms will be in the form of procedures, work instructions, monitoring, training… etc., depending on the level of significance and nature of the activities. This shall be mainly achieved through Risk Assessment. Risk assessment shall be done periodically and whenever there is a change in activity or a new activity. The Management Staff has been given the responsibility and the authority to determine the magnitude of risks and the potential consequences of hazards of an activity or process, over which necessary control is to be exercised, keeping in view the significant risk on health & safety. For significant hazards, there shall be effective risk reduction measures to control & monitor the procedures in order to prevent them from becoming significant. Handasat Al-Esnad Co. has established Integrated Management system (IMS) as per requirements of the latest Standards and adopts a process approach in the design and documentation of the IMS to ensure smooth operation and achieve company objectives. The company operates under process approach where the numerous processes of the company are classified into Business processes and Management processes and interact during operation to achieve the company objectives.
